Lumineers

QUESTION: Do people with veneers have more fun because they have such a great smile?
ANSWER: After patients have veneers, they have a more attractive smile and are able to smile and laugh easier without being embarrassed by their
teeth.

Veneers or Lumineers are shells of porcelain that are bonded to teeth to improve their appearance. Porcelain veneers are frequently used in cosmetic dentistry to mask teeth that are damaged, worn, discolored, or crooked. They have the same sort of lustrous sheen that natural teeth have and they come in a wide variety of shades.

Before and after Lumineers

We use Lumineers because they are super thin and can give a person permanent beautiful teeth without having to remove sensitive tooth structure. Also they are long lasting, over 20 years per an ongoing study.

The procedure involves only two dental visits. During the first visit, the teeth are minimally prepared without removal of sensitive tooth structure. The dentist then makes an impression and the mold is sent to the Cerinate® Smile Design Studios to make custom veneers for each tooth.

On the next visit, the dentist tries in the Lumineers to ensure a good fit. Then the veneers are bonded to the teeth and become hard and durable. They also resist staining since they are porcelain and glass like. Their surface is extremely smooth and impervious to tea, coffee, red wine or cigarette smoking.

In only two dental visits, a person can have a permanently whiter and beautiful smile, without shots or pain.

Before and after Lumineers

People normally require veneers on six of the top teeth. Eight to ten if they have a wide smile. This is also the solution for chipped teeth, spaced teeth, discolored teeth, uneven teeth, and can even revitalize old crowns and bridges without removing them.

Traditional veneers are not so painless. They require the teeth to be severely shaved away with a drill to accommodate the thick veneers. The procedure is not reversible like the Lumineers are. Call now for a free consultation.
